Parenting the Love and Logic Way®

We all want children who are respectful, responsible and fun to be around. Learn essential skills on how to neutralize arguing and avoid unwinnable power struggles and arguments. Enforceable statements are an effective way to say no to your children. We will learn how to set limits in a way that empowers our children to make effective decisions. Children have four essential needs: counted, connected, capable, and courageous. Learn fun and effective ways to meet these needs while creating the family of your dreams.

Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun® (0-6 Year Olds)

The Love and Logic® program designed specifically for young children. Parents learn how to take care of themselves by setting limits in loving ways. Parents get tips on handling misbehavior without breaking a sweat and becoming first time responders. Training toddlers using Love and Logic® leads to teens who are respectful, responsible and fun to be around.

Parent Talk®

The Parent Talk System is a way of communicating with children that creates emotionally healthy family relationships. It is a skill based program that teaches parents a series of verbal skills and language patterns to help them achieve their desired objective of raising responsible, respectful children while reducing stress, strain, and family conflict.

Building Stronger Kids From the Inside Out

Challenging behaviors abound in every setting - homes, childcare and schools. Children at all ages are hungry for emotional relationships (a.k.a. attention) and are experts at getting this need met, with intense children being the most skilled artists in this craft. In this 6 week class series, we will delve into the basic premises of the Nurtured Heart Approach®. You will leave having a heightened understanding of how to respond to challenging behaviors with intention and purpose and how to help build stronger kids, from the inside out. The concepts of this approach apply to any relationship and can be utilized with any child, yet are found to be particularly effective with children who display difficult behaviors.
